Dr. Fossel has an MD and a PhD in neurobiology from Stanford University where he taught neurobiology and research methods. A clinical professor of medicine, he is considered to be the world foremost expert on telomeres, aging, and age-related disease. He gave the first talk at the NIH on reversal of human aging, published the first articles on the potential of telomeres as a clinical intervention, and authored the first and only medical textbook in this field, Cells, Aging, and Human Disease, by Oxford University Press.

Sam Vaknin is Visiting Professor of Psychology, Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Professor of Finance and Psychology in CIAPS (Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies). Sam Vaknin is the author of Malignant Self-love: Narcissism Revisited and other books about personality disorders. His work is cited in hundreds of books and dozens of academic papers. He spent the past 6 years developing Cold Therapy: a treatment modality for Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Over the years, with dozens of volunteers, he found that it was effective with clients suffering from a major depressive episode as well.

He is Full Expert International Faculty Professorship Member in the Brooklyn Central University, the USA, Associate Expert International Faculty Professorship Member in the University of Pacific Albion, the USA and, Associate Expert International Faculty Professorship Member in the Green Lake (GreenLake) University, the USA. Hasan completed all his educations at Airlangga University. The educations that have been completed were: Medical Doctor, Neurologist, Consultant Neurologist, M.Sc, and Ph.D. His additional education was Hospital Management at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Melbourne, Australia. In 2007 he was appointed as Neurology Professor also at Airlangga University. He had 15 international publications. He has been serving as an editorial board member of national and international journals. His current position is the President of Indonesian Neurological Association (INA).

Catherine Chang is the co-Principal Investigator of the Chang laboratory at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, with her husband and long-term collaborator Dr. T.Y. Chang as the PI. They have been working on cholesterol metabolism research for more than four decades. The Changs and their colleagues did ground breaking work by identifying the gene that encodes the cholesterol storage enzyme acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase 1 (ACAT1/SOAT1). Subsequently, they performed extensive functional analysis of the enzyme. More recently, they demonstrated ACAT1 as a potential target for treating several human diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and Niemann-Pick type C disease.

Soraya L Valles graduated in Biological Science at the University of Valencia in 1985 and in 1996 she finished her PhD in the IIC Institute looking for astrogliogenesis during brain development. In 1997 she spent three years at Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, UK. She was working in inflammation and regulation of IL-1 and IL-1 receptor. In 2000 she returned to Spain at Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine in University of Valencia until now. She is working in toxicity in developmental and neurodegenerative disease (such as Alzheimer’s disease) looking for oxidative stress and inflammation mechanisms.

Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh is an appointed Consultant Neurosurgeon and Complex Spine Surgeon at the Hurstwood Park Neurosciences Centre and Royal Sussex County Hospital since 2015. He is senior lecturer at the University of Brighton and previously lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He is one very few surgeons with dual Orthopedic and Neurosurgical spine accreditation in addition to further specialist fellowship training in anterior skull base and minimally invasive neurosurgery in Adelaide and New York. He was the highest-ranking candidate in the PLAB exam for medical graduates. His training includes basic surgical training in Mersey Deanery followed by specialist Neurosurgery training in the Walton centre. The Walton Centre is the only hospital trust in the UK specializing solely in neurology, neurosurgery and pain services.
